Network Analyst (Administrator)
Duties. Reviews, evaluates, plans, and implements network architecture and systems. Responds to outages and other service deficiencies by troubleshooting existing network systems and architecture and resolving issues in a timely manner. Installs hardware and software updates, maintenance releases, system upgrades, and resolves any resulting software and hardware problems. Based on industry standards, experience, and troubleshooting results recommends improvements to existing systems.
Designs, develops, and maintains network layout documentation to support growth, enhance performance, and facilitate technology advancements. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting to supervisory personnel at multiple levels. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, best practices, procedures, and security guidelines. Has understanding and experience with DoD standards and a wide variety of networking protocols. May be responsible for managing / supervising the work of others.
Requirements. Must have CCNP or CCDP, demonstrates knowledge of wide, campus or local area networks(WAN, CAN, LAN). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the IT field of 6-9 years; familiar with IT standards, concepts, practices, and procedures; performs a variety of tasks. Security + / Network + highly desired.
Clearance. Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
System Analyst (Administrator)
Duties. The Systems Administrator is responsible for supervising the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Performs regular system monitoring / maintenance, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, and reviewing system and application logs. Conducts regular backup operations, ensuring both on and off-site storage of backup media as well as minimal downtime in event of hardware failure. Manages the application of operating system patches and upgrades on a regular basis. Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Requirements: BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. Preferred 3-5 years IT operation with strong understanding of Windows systems / network structures, theories, principles, and practices. Expert proficiency with Windows Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007, Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), and Microsoft Active Directory. File share permissions and network Storage. MCSE Server 2003 / MCITP Enterprise Administrator certifications.
Clearance. Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
Computer Support Technician III
Duties. Computer Support III provides problem resolution for elevated customer calls. Provides advanced problem identification and coordinates with appropriate resolution channels. Generates trouble call trend reports and makes recommendations based on findings. Responsible for supervision and guidance for the computer support team. Provides computer support information to management. Typically reports to managers. Information Technician must be familiar with IA policy and procedures.
Requirements. MCP; CCNA; IASO Level II; Associate degree or equivalent IT experience and 3-5 years of customer experience. Information Technician must be able to acquire security+, GSCC, and GISF.
Clearance. Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
Computer Support Technician II
Duties. Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Addresses elevated customer calls. Provides problem identification. Identifies problems that need elevation to the computer support supervisor. May compile trouble ticket reporting trends for management reports. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. May supervise computer support technicians. Has knowledge and understanding of current policies and configuration settings. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor. Must be familiar with IA policy and procedures.
Requirements. MCP; IASO Level I; Associate degree or equivalent IT experience and 2-4 years of customer service experience. Must be able to acquire security+, GSCC, and GISF.
